The cabin is located inside the Sequoia National Forest,
you will truly be in the middle of the woods, with 100 foot trees surrounding you.
There are three bedrooms, and the cabin sleeps as many as 6 people.

"Staying in Carl's Alta Sierra Tree House was like being transported to some mystical place where peace and beauty reign. We arrived to a dark forest and came upon a warm yellow glow (the cabin). The first day was sunny but then we woke to a blanket of thick snow the second day. It was such an adventure! We gathered wood from the forest and had a fire going for the duration. We cooked and ate by candlelight. We slept to the sounds of the babbling stream. The movie library and washer/dryer made for a very comfy extended stay. That evening it got a little chilly as we sat outside enjoying cocktails, the creek and the beautiful forest, we all agreed it must be gorgeous when they have snow...surprize we woke up to SNOW! it snowed most of the day. We were not prepared for snow so we did not bring snow gear, thanks to you for supplying your cabin with snow gear, boots, gloves, snow board etc. We all had a fabulous time and plan to return again and again. We really loved the ambiance, the tree in the entry, the Christmas tree lights on the stairs, the steep stairs really made it feel like a tree house. The place could not have been cozier. "We did a ton of online research to find a cabin in the Sequoias that we liked. With it's rustic charm, great porch view and sleeping accommodations, we decided on the Alta Sierra 'Tree House' cabin. Our stay in this quaint little house, nestled in a peaceful mountain village, made our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. The Tree House living room was bigger then we thought, which was a pleasant surprise, and the kitchen was impressive, with beautiful marble counter tops and sturdy new appliances. What we appreciated most about the kitchen was the utensils and amenities that we didn't expect to find, like: a knife set, huge cutting board, blender, toaster, spice rack, wine openers, a pizza wheel and colander. The kitchen also had all the little tools you don't think to grab before heading to a cabin that are bit too costly to buy for one-time usage. The huge back porch at the Tree House offered a lovely view of the forest. Waking up with coffee and the serene view of the woods was a great way to start each day. We finished the days on the back porch as well, grilling dinner and enjoying the view again while drinking cocktails. We loved our stay at the Tree House and have recommended it our family and friends in San Diego."

"We had a wonderful stay at your cabin last week. It was our first time in the area and the kids loved playing in the snow! I was really amazed at how much snow was remaining throughout the community! The trees and the surrounding area were just breathtaking. The cabin was so clean and comfortable, and had such nice, thoughtful amenities (books, games, spare toiletries). We were six adults and four kids, and we never felt cramped or crowded. I did spend a lot of time in the beautiful kitchen! May I just say: Snow + 4 kids = washer/dryer was invaluable! Besides playing in the snow, we hiked a few trails along the upper and lower Kern River. We will try to return later in the season to access the trails along the Great Western Divide Highway (which is closed during the winter). Thanks for making your beautiful treehouse available to visitors, for such a reasonable fee! "

"Our visit to the Alta Sierra Tree House was amazing! The cedar tree growing through the living room of the cabin is a one of a kind sight to see. Our family loved everything about our stay.
